Upstairs bathroom: a photo montage
First, we had to put concrete board down on top of the plywood subfloor.
Then we put out the tiles to check the layout and started to cut them. Mixed up the thinset and cemented them down.
Then it was time for grout. I am an expert at this.
Toilet installation.
Then we had to get that vanity cabinet up the stairs. It involved removing drawers and cabinet doors, a hand truck, and lots and lots of engineering. We got it up halfway to the landing on the hand truck, then we had to just slide it up the rest of the way. Professionals, I tell you.

I am SO hoping the finishes I've helped select for our new Birth Center look as good installed as your selections do... I'll let you know in June (I hope).
