When we last left off, tile was going down! And now days later, a few more tiles have been laid.
It seems like slow progress, and well it is. But other stuff is happening too. The window was delivered, and it got installed. It's a little bit smaller than I envisioned, but it's fine. It's just to let some light in, not for a fabulous view or anything.
I'm assuming that tile is about to go up on the walls of the shower, because I got a text today for some clarification about which direction to run it. Here's the look we are going for:
The floor of the shower will be a large scale hexagon marble tile. And a smaller scale hexagon marble tile will go into the "nooche."
Also, he finished patching the ceiling in the kitchen and primed the part that I hadn't finished painting. I tried to find the ceiling paint so that maybe I can finish it out this weekend and he can finish installing the can lights. But I haven't been over there in so long that I couldn't immediately find where I left the ceiling paint. That's about right.
