When the tile started going up on the walls of the shower, we saw that it would look a lot better if we had a slab of granite for the bench seat and for the shower threshold. I took the measurements myself (no pressure) and got a quote. This stuff is not cheap. Even though I've paid for countertop installations twice now, it still gives me a little sticker shock to see those quotes. We even picked up and had our contractor install them, but it doesn't affect the price very much. Here they are though.
And here they are installed.
The contractor finally made it up into the attic to do the wiring for the 2 pendant lights over the peninsula.
He also re-textured the walls and ceiling in the master bath where he'd had to cut out and patch drywall.
He started to grout and for some reason he stopped in a really peculiar place.
The upholstery place finally called and arranged to come pick up my 2 rockers to take them and make them beautiful. I'm really excited to see how they turn out.
