Tile is going down!
A major milestone has been reached! Tile is being laid in the master bathroom!
When they finished the plumbing, they put down leveling concrete then poured the shower pan.
Then hardiebacker board went up. The nooche was cut out. It had to be adjusted toward the back of the shower because there was a wall stud in the way.
Finished out the drywall around the tub.
And now we have some tile being installed! This is the best week!
Of course I haven't been totally idle. Our current house went on the market yesterday. I've been babysitting the new sod by watering it twice a day. I've also planted flowers, killed half of them, and replanted flowers. My mom and aunt drove out with a Uhaul trailer full of goodies. Among the items was an old recliner/rocker and an old sewing rocker. I found a place to get them reupholstered, and went to pick out fabric. I had to pay a 50% deposit just to get a spot in line for them to call me when they can get to them. I have now decided that I should learn upholstery and get rich.
The light gray is going on the recliner rocker, and the blue velvet is going on the sewing rocker.
Also, we have a main line water leak in the sprinkler system. I'm sure it will be cheap to fix. (ha)
