Welcome to the neighborhood
So the day we closed on the UF, we didn't get the keys for a few hours. When I finally did get the key, I went over and painted swatches of my paint samples on all the walls but I didn't do much else. The next day, I was over there first thing ready to get to work.
A few hours later - knock knock. I answered the door, and it was a contractor for our power co-op. They had been mowing the grass under the power lines along our property, and he had run his tractor into our corner fence post.

Welcome to the neighborhood! Crrrrrrrunch!
We hadn't even owned the house for 24 hours.
It took almost 4 weeks and a few phone calls, but they did come and fix it. Finally. Sheesh.
