This week at the UF
We hired the Junk Guys to come load up all the construction debris that had accumulated in the garage over the last few months. They came out on the scheduled day, took one look, and said yeah we'll have to reschedule bc we didn't know there was THIS much stuff. Did you send us pictures of THIS much stuff?
Now that there is plenty space in the garage, it's time to fill it back up! I started removing the remaining carpet.
Here's how you handle it when the tile boxes are too heavy to move.
More carpet removal.
The worst part of carpet removal, you ask? Pulling up all the tack boards. Achievement unlocked: wore a hole in a work glove.
Then I decided to purchase and install a handrail for the stairs (yes, this is pretty random but that's how I roll).
My husband and his weekend rental toy from Home Depot: a cement saw. We will need to move the drain to put a tub there, so he had to cut into the slab.
During the new junk removal day, my husband decides this is the perfect time to demo the bathtub in the master bathroom. So he busted it up and we hauled the pieces of cultured marble out to the junk truck.
Terrible injury occurred.
