Ultimate demo
It was an epic battle, but we destroyed the ugly 12x12 white tile!
We had to rent demo hammer, a chisel bit, and a scraper bit. The chisel gets the tile off the floor, and the scraper removes the thinset that's left.

We started on Friday evening. It didn't take long for us to realize that we would need more ear plugs and some cover to keep the shards from cutting us as they flew around the house. There was a little bloodshed. That's why my husband on Saturday was decked out in eye gear, ear plugs, long pants, and a hoodie pulled tight. It was 80 degrees that day.
He did most of the heavy stuff, and I cleaned up along the way. We piled up the tile debris in the office. This is the foyer/living room/office area.

We finished Saturday evening, and I had to go over Sunday morning to clean up all the dust off of my countertops and get them nice and shiny again. We may never get all the dust cleaned up.
