Popsicles
When you are doing demolition of a shower, and you find popsicle sticks in the rubble....

We got the shower demo'ed. Not much to say, so here's a photo essay.
Beginning

No crazy ducting or anything above the shower.

Middle

End

Notes:
- there was not nearly as much mold as I expected
- cultured marble is HEAVY
- this shower had a fiberglass insert component to it, but it was mostly drywall with cultured marble over it (not how you're supposed to install a shower)
- we gained 2 ft of headspace
- it now needs a window and a "nooche" (citation, Tommy Smythe)
- if you don't know what a "nooche" is, you must look it up
I've looked through all of my pictures, and this is the best before pic I can find. Even the listing on realtor.com didn't have a pic of the shower. I'm sure that was on purpose.

I'll bet the demolition is a tremendous frustration outlet, especially in recent days. Maybe I need to find something to take a sledge hammer to for a few days......
